Things to Remember Before Moving Day

These are key items to take care of before moving day.

Contact local utility companies and inform them of your move. (Electric, trash , water, newspaper, magazine subscriptions, phone, ISP and cable companies)

If you are moving yourself, make sure you ask a few friends to help, if necessary.

Give your travel information to a good friend or relative so someone will know where you are at and when you expect to arrive.

Make copies of any important documents just in case any get lost during the move.

Make a backup DVD or CD of any important document on your computer in case it gets damaged.
